The analysis aims to answer the following questions:
- Which states record the highest biodegradable plastic bags adoption?
- What are the adoption levels of biodegradable and non biodegradable plastic bags by industries and merchants?
- Is adoption of biodegradable plastic bags influenced by state legislation?
The analysis focuses on adoption patterns and trends which give insights to environment and government agencies, to increase adoption rates and for enforcement on non compliant businesses and merchants.

One of the goals of the project was to create a report to present the findings from the analysis. The report is aimed to raise awareness on the adoption of biodegradable plastic bags in Malaysia.
